For both fresh graduates and experienced professionals, a CV must be presented coherently and clearly, avoiding unnecessary details that might bore recruiters. Most importantly, after reading the "work history," a recruiter must understand exactly what you have done, the experience you possess, or the soft skills you have acquired. Remember, how you write your work experience is the key to your success.

1. For Experienced Workers

You should provide the exact start and end dates of your previous jobs to build credibility with recruiters. Additionally, include the positions you held and the lessons learned from those roles. This section should focus on clearly demonstrating your perspectives and strengths relevant to the position you are applying for.

2. For Fresh Graduates Without Experience

If you are a new graduate, do not worry about having nothing to write. You should include:

  • Extracurricular activities and projects.
  • Theses or research papers you participated in.
  • Internship placements.
  • Soft skills, such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork, as these are highly beneficial.

To win over demanding recruiters, presenting a coherent CV is essential but not enough to build full trust. Consider these tips:

  • Reverse Chronological Order: Arrange your experiences from the present back to your earliest job. Clearly state start and end dates, positions held, and the experience gained.
  • Career Objectives: Demonstrate enthusiasm and dedication. Use strong action verbs such as "develop," "organize," "manage," or "overcome". Focus on your strengths to create a "plus point".
    • Example: Applying communication and sales skills, along with an understanding of customer psychology, to become a professional consultant. Goal: To master professional knowledge within 2 months and transition into a team leader position within one year.
  • Provide Concrete Numbers: Whenever possible, cite specific figures and achievements from your previous companies. Concrete data demonstrates a responsible attitude and the ability to help a company reach new heights.
  • Highlight Key Points: Present yourself as a professional candidate by listing 3 to 4 of your most important achievements. Use concise bullet points that are packed with information.
