History of the Formation and Development of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering
The Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering was established in 2002 with a team of young, enthusiastic, and experienced lecturers. The faculty continuously learns and strives for excellence, and currently the faculty is a training and research center in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering. Currently, the faculty has three departments with 12 modern laboratories to serve teaching and research for students and lecturers in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering. Each year, the faculty provides hundreds of high-quality graduates to meet the needs of the Vietnamese labor market. Most (approximately 95%) graduates from the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering find employment in their field. Businesses largely evaluate students as hardworking, eager to learn, and possessing the skills and specialized knowledge to meet job requirements.
Currently, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering mainly trains students in 3 majors:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronic Engineering
- Control and Automation Engineering
With training systems including: regular undergraduate, transfer undergraduate, and postgraduate.

After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology, graduates can take on the following positions:
− Technical design in production lines; technical design in technical departments;
− Technical department staff; sales staff in trading companies in the Electrical, Electronics, and Telecommunications industries;
− Technical specialist in maintenance and repair of electrical, electronic, and telecommunications equipment in companies and enterprises;
− Technical supervisor for electrical and electronic equipment installation projects;
− Research and development specialist for projects in the production of electrical, electronic, and telecommunications equipment;
− Lecturer in colleges and vocational schools specializing in Electrical, Electronics, and Telecommunications engineering.
Control and Automation Engineering
After graduation, engineers in Control and Automation Engineering can take on the following positions:
− Engineering designer in production lines; engineering designer in technical departments;
− Technical department staff; sales staff for trading companies in the field of Control and Automation Engineering;
− Technical specialist in maintenance and repair of automated systems in factories and enterprises;
− Technical supervisor for projects installing Control and Automation equipment;
− Research and development specialist for production projects;
− Lecturer in colleges and vocational schools specializing in Control and Automation Engineering.
