YOUTH UNION
Over the past 35 years of establishment and development, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, despite undergoing several name changes, has continuously affirmed its important role in youth union affairs and student movements within the university sector as well as across Ho Chi Minh City.
From its early days, the Youth Union has demonstrated a pioneering spirit in fulfilling the University’s political and educational missions. Its activities have been closely linked to enhancing students’ academic performance, professional skills, social responsibility, and community engagement. Key initiatives include the “Five-Good Students” movement and programs aimed at fostering dynamic, creative, and capable Youth Union and Student Association officers.
Currently, the Youth Union consists of more than 7,500 members, with 235 student branches and staff unions. It consistently receives strong support and guidance from the Party committees, university leadership, and higher-level Youth Union organizations.
