Department of Electrical Engineering
DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
The Department of Electrical Engineering (DEE) was established in the late 20th century as part of the Faculty of Electrical & Electronics Technology at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade. The DEE comprises one associate professor, five PhD holders, three doctoral candidates, and three master's degree holders. All members of the DEE are experienced, responsible, dedicated, and innovative in their roles.
The lecturers of the Electrical Engineering Department
Since its inception, the DEE has been focused on training highly skilled human resources to serve national development. University-level training in the Electrical Engineering major commenced in 2012. Additionally, the DEE teaches courses in several other specializations, including Electronics Engineering, and Control & Automation Engineering (under the Faculty of Electrical & Electronics Technology), Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, and Thermal Engineering (under the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering).
The department is well-equipped with modern laboratories, such as the Electrical Equipment Practice Lab, Power Systems Lab, Sensor Measurement Lab, Basic Electrical Practices 1 and 2, Electrical Machines Lab, Power Electronics Lab, PLC Lab, and Electric Drives Lab.
