A PLACE TO INSPIRE CREATIVITY AND CONNECT KNOWLEDGE IN THE NEW ERA

The Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, successfully organized its 2025 Annual Scientific Conference with the theme "ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONICS AND AUTOMATION INDUSTRY IN THE NEW ERA". This was a vibrant intellectual event, a meeting point for groundbreaking ideas, bringing together numerous scientists, lecturers, students, and distinguished guests interested in advanced fields within the industry.

The workshop took place in an open, friendly, and inspiring atmosphere on the 3rd floor of the University's Library Center, affirming the event's important role in promoting scientific research, academic exchange, and connecting the scientific community.

The event was honored to have the presence of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering's leadership, along with all the esteemed lecturers, scientists, distinguished guests, authors whose papers were selected for presentation, and especially the enthusiastic participation of the students – the future researchers of the Faculty.

The workshop began with a formal introduction by Mr. Nguyen Phu Cong, M.Sc. He introduced the purpose and profound significance of the workshop, emphasizing its role as a prestigious scientific forum where researchers publish and exchange the latest results.

Following this, Dr. Le Thanh Toi delivered a passionate opening speech, outlining the strategic vision for the Faculty's scientific research activities and officially kicking off the series of in-depth reports and discussions.

The main working session of the Conference was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Van Tan Luong. Professor Luong clearly explained the procedures and methods for reporting in the presentations and discussions. He introduced the list of outstanding research topics selected for presentation at the Conference for the thematic sessions.

The heart of the Conference was the passionate research works presented by the authors, receiving enthusiastic attention and interaction from the academic community. A special highlight of this year's Conference was the focus on thematic presentations that kept pace with the rapidly developing trends in science and technology and societal needs. The research works not only demonstrated in-depth expertise but also reflected the Faculty's vision in shaping the future of the Electrical, Electronics, and Automation engineering fields. From smart energy solutions, electric vehicle system optimization and energy storage, to the application of the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI) in medical robotics and assistive technologies for people with disabilities, each topic opens up new avenues, contributing to solving challenges and promoting the sustainable development of the digital society. The Q&A sessions following each presentation not only answered questions but also served as an open forum for researchers, lecturers, and students to exchange ideas, offer fresh perspectives and valuable suggestions, fostering critical thinking and collaboration. The sincere and constructive discussion atmosphere made the conference a truly effective academic environment.

Concluding the fruitful presentation sessions, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Van Tan Luong profoundly summarized the key contents and scientific value that the topics had brought. His closing remarks brought the 2025 Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering to a close, leaving many positive impressions and a strong source of inspiration for future generations' scientific research journeys.
